RICHARD RANFT
, CAI, GPPA, AARE, REALTOR® is president and chief Auctioneer of Beloit Auction Service, Inc. as well as its sister company, Beloit Auction & Realty, Inc.

Rich grew up in an Auction family and for the past 27 years, he and his wife Pat have worked alongside each other. They pride themselves on hard work.

Their staff of 24 full and part-time employees backs up their quality efforts. Rich also does professional appraisals and works as a Real Estate Broker. Rich is a long time member of the National Auctioneers Association where he serves on the membership committee. He’s a former member of the NAA’s education and technology committees. Rich is a past director of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association. He’s a strong believer in continuing education, and staying on the cutting edge of professional innovations.

Bill Perkins Jr.


BILL PERKINS, JR., CAI, GPPA, REALTOR® is Vice-President of Auction Operations. Bill is a professional Auctioneer and certified personal property appraiser with many years experience. He is also a licensed Real Estate associate and a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) and the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association.

A Wisconsin native, Bill has owned and operated the Avalon Auction Center and worked for several years as a vital member of the Beloit Auction team.


Pat Ranft

Pat is Rich's wife and business partner. She governs the office, a key part of any auction service. She has a professional background in retail that helps her with auction set-ups. She clerks the auctions on our computerized system. A native of Riverside, California, she met Rich at - where else? - an auction! She is a Rockford College grad., and she and Rich are the proud grandparents of two - Joe and Libby.

George Goecks

Associate real estate broker and licensed auctioneer, George has worked alongside Rich for several years. He specializes in Green County property, and lists throughout the state. He's on hand for all your real estate needs.

Sherry Blakeley

Sherry calls bids at our weekly auctions and works as part of the Beloit Auction & Realty, Inc. team. She is a licensed Real Estate associate. She assists with appraisals and cataloging; she loves benefit auctions and public speaking! A professional writer, Sherry's stories appear in Auctioneer magazine, AntiqueWeek, Antique Toy World, and Auction Action news.

John R. Ferraro

John, a Judson College graduate, is our Illinois real estate connection. He holds his Illinois' broker's license. In his spare time, he loves to hang with his two kids and his wife. He's also a diehard Cubs fan!

Tonya Frye

Tonya Frye is one of the new additions to our Realty Team. Tonya joined us from the conventional side of real estate, having worked in the field for 15 years and she has been a REALTOR® for 3 years. Tonya says, “Real Estate sales at Auction are growing by leaps and bounds! I love it.” On Wednesdays you can find Tonya at our personal property Auctions where she catches bids as a ring person. She has great fun “ringing” and seeing the variety of items that people buy - including her own family!

Maria Salinas


Maria is a dynamic member of our Beloit Auction & Realty team. A REALTOR®, she holds licenses in both Illinois and Wisconsin. “It’s fun and exciting doing Real Estate on Auction!” she says. She should know! Before joining us, she and her husband bought and sold property through Beloit Auction. She is bi-lingual, and a great help to our Spanish-speaking clients. Maria and Juan have two grown sons, Juan Jr. and Daniel.


Julieann Ferraro

Julieann Ferraro, a new member of the Beloit Auction Realty team, holds her Illinois Salesperson License and is a 1993 graduate of UW Platteville where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agri-business. Julie grew up in Milton, WI, and now lives in northern Illinois. She is a wife and mother and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Kevin Diluia

Kevin's keen sense of Real Estate makes him a good choice for your Illinois property. At home in Arlington Heights with his wife Tammy and childen Maddie and Joshua, Kevin is licensed as an agent to handle property not only in the Chicagoland area but throughout Illinois. He knows that selling at Auction is the way to go for Real Estate of every value.
      

Tracy Ferraro

Welcome, Tracy! A licensed Illinois Real Estate agent, Tracy can now handle listings of her own in addition to all the behind-the-scenes paperwork she's done to help us stay highly organized. We're glad to have her step in to an even more important role with the BA&R team!
      

Trudy Trochta

Trudy Trochta joins us an Illinois Real Estate licensee from her home in Lake Barrington.  A licensed Auctioneer as well, Trudy graduated from Missouri Auction & Appraisal School.  She belongs to the National Auctioneers Assoc. & Illinois State Auctioneers.  Her college of choice was Northern Illinois University, and she earned her M.S. in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University of Milwaukee.  Now she adds her knowledge and experience to the Beloit Auction & Realty Success Team.

Bill & Carol Miedema

Retired auctioneer Bill and auction-worker Carol are the founding father and mother of the original auction house back in the 1970s. Son Rich and his wife Pat renamed the business Beloit Auction Service when they took it on in the ‘80s. Now the Miedemas can spend more time with their 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren..

Allen Frye

Ring Boss Al has worked 24 years here at Beloit. Al is expert at arranging items for preview in our large gallery area and the auction proper. He's a non-stop worker, always ready, willing and able to get the job done. Along the way, he helps a lot of people.

Brian Heikkinen

Beloit native Brian wears a lot of hats - ringman, estate gatherer, set-up worker, and auction cashier. He's been a well-liked member of the Beloit Auction crew for eight years. When he can find time, he likes to travel.

Penny L. Frye

Penny has shared her friendly smile with customers at Beloit Auction since before her two children were born. Yes, she's Mrs. Allen Frye, as well as a dedicated auction worker. Thanks to Penny, absentee bids get handled with accuracy and energy.

David Norris

Dave grew up in this auction family. Now he's a Rock Valley college student who still gives hours each week to Beloit Auction. During our ProxiBid sales, this computer expert is our Main Man!

Mary Eddy

Meet Mary Eddy! Her smiling face greets visitors to Beloit Auction during the week. She also works behind the scenes readying antiques and collectibles. She holds a long time interest in antiques. Now she gets to work with them hands on.

Gabe Urrutia

Gabe is a vital member of our team. You'll see him working hard on personal property pick-ups, auction set up, and ringing during the sales themselves (that means bid catching + organizing the items as they cross the auction block). We love having him around. Not only is he very competent, he's also a nice guy with a great sense of humor! And he's bilingual in English and Spanish. You can't top Gabe for versatility.  

Lyle Harvell

Lyle (The Reliable) has been with us going on three years. With plenty of previous Auction experience, Lyle's a great help picking up loads and working Auction house set-up. He's truly a hard worker. He's an experienced carpenter and roofer, has done professional carpet cleaning and worked in food service. We're happy to have him on board. Lyle has one grown son.
